• Define the 'problems to be solved' or 'metrics to be improved' with the track lead/DA every cycle (1-2 months) and establish strategies and experiment plans to achieve goals.
• As a PO, select the features to implement in each iteration (3 days - 2 weeks), coordinate direction with squad members, and lead to actual results.
• Lead the entire process from high-level planning (target users of features, product value, metric goals, etc.) to detailed planning and design, development, QA, launch, and post-analysis, creating a virtuous cycle for the service.
• Repeat the Hypothesis-Experiment-Validation process based on key metrics such as user engagement, retention, and Activation Ratio to discover features and functions packed with greater fun and value.
• If necessary, work closely with the ML team to contemplate ways to translate 'the limitations of model performance into product terms' and propose solutions that encompass both technology and user experience.
Let me introduce the team you will join.
Scatter Lab is enhancing the daily lives of countless users through its AI technology-based interactive service, Zeta. The User Squad defines problems to solve or metrics to improve every cycle in order to maximize 'fun' for users by increasing their service dwell time and satisfaction.
The User Squad is a small team resembling a startup, composed of a PO, product designer (PD), frontend/backend engineers, and data analysts (DA). Everyone is focused on the question, 'How can users immerse themselves more deeply and have a richer experience?' and is creating growth through dense collaboration every day.
One of the great attractions of the User Squad is that all team members are proactive. On the question of 'How can users immerse themselves more deeply?', the PO does not ponder alone; all team members, including developers, enthusiastically share their opinions. We brainstorm about the features to implement for each iteration, and all team members, including developers, actively participate in every step from planning and design feedback to QA and post-analysis.
Here are the tasks you will be involved in:
We want to work with someone who:
• Thinks and executes fiercely together: The direction of feature implementation, user experience improvement strategies, and even the ambiguous value of 'fun' are discussed and validated by all members of the squad, not just the PO. We are looking for someone who wants to participate in this collaborative culture with an open attitude, exchanging ideas and growing together.
• Seriously considers 'fun': Rather than simply solving inconveniences, we seek to create experiences that inject vitality and immersion into users' daily lives. We prefer someone with imagination and drive who is interested in ‘fun’ and can incorporate it into products through conversations with characters, storytelling, content, entertainment, games, etc.
• Possesses data-driven thinking and an Agile mindset: Someone who enjoys quickly experimenting with action items, measuring results with data, and improving iteratively is welcome.
• Exhibits proactive problem-solving skills: We are looking for someone who not only solves the given problems but also has the drive to define 'what the real problem is' and to dive in to find solutions.
• Has domain experience (e.g. finance, commerce) is not a limitation, but it would be better if one has experience in planning, operating mobile services or entertainment content, or setting their own vision in a startup and achieving results.
When applying, please highlight:
• What problem was defined, and how was it approached?
• How was the hypothesis validated, and what results (or insights from failures) were obtained?
• Points of growth and lessons learned from past experiences.
