D.Hive is a robotics startup developing the autonomous driving robot platform ROBOPILOT.
The candidate joining through this hiring will be responsible for the hardware including control and sensing circuit design, which is the core of autonomous driving robots. This position allows direct contribution throughout the product launch process in a small team.
Circuit Design (Key Role)
• Design of the main control board for autonomous driving robots (PCB Schematic/Layout)
• Motor Driver (Inverter)
• DC-DC Power Conversion
• Sensor Interface (LiDAR, Camera, IMU, Encoder, Ultrasonic, GPS)
• High-speed Signal Interface Design (LTE, Ethernet, USB3.2, MIPI)
• Circuit Prototype Production, Testing and Debugging
• Component Selection and BOM Management
• EMC/EMI Compliance Design and Certification Testing
• DFM (Design for Manufacturing) Review for Mass Production
• Assembly Process Design and Work Instruction Documentation
Additional Tasks
• Simple Firmware Development using RS232/I2C/USB/Ethernet for Peripherals Control or Collaboration with Internal SW Developers
• Design/Production of Sensor Mounts using 3D Printers and Management of External Mechanical Works
1. More than 5 years of circuit design experience (Required)
2. Circuit Technology Stack (Required)
• Design Tools: Altium Designer, OrCAD, KiCad
• Simulation: LTspice, PSIM, SI/PI Analysis Tools
• Measurement Equipment: Oscilloscope, Power Analyzer
3. Firmware/Mechanical Technology Stack (Preferred)
• MCU/Processors: STM32, NXP, NVIDIA Jetson Integrated Circuits
• Languages: C/C++, Python
• Communication Interfaces: CAN, EtherCAT, Ethernet, USB, UART, SPI, I2C
• 3D CAD: SolidWorks, CATIA, Fusion 360, Inventor
• 2D CAD: AutoCAD, DraftSight
• Experience in hardware development for robots or drones
• Experience in implementing communication protocols such as CAN, UART, SPI, I2C
• Experience in waterproof and dustproof design of IP54 and above
• Experience in IMU, LiDAR, camera sensor interfaces
• Experience using RTOS
• Experience in quality control and DFM with cooperative partners
