• Established the B2B display business in US and lead all display product marketing functions and teams including full product cycle planning, developed ecosystem with hardware and software partners and commercial channel relationship as an extension of Samsung Electronics Korea HQ.
• Manage product portfolio of 4 distinct display product lines serving digital signage and cloud computing display markets and led project delivery for large and cross functional projects.
• Make decisions for pricing, forecasting, inventory, channel program and developing business strategies and product acting as the liaison between Korea HQ and US subsidiaries.
• Achieve and maintain operational excellence with revenue target, P&L, demand planning and managing supply chain maintaining forecast accuracy and margin, and inventory management.
• Manage pipeline opportunities and multiple projects with teams and sales support with direct communications with the customers for product offerings, strategies and service and support.
• Develops a display product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a product area in support of corporate goals and objectives by using customer feedback, market research and competitive analysis to identify new product opportunities and enhancements.
• Execute bowling alley strategy with a focused go-to-market which has established product leadership achieving No.1 market share in digital signage display products in US (from 18% to 46%; 2008 to 2010; Display Search Data)
• Manage LCD display business in key retail and commercial channels and maintained the No. 1 market share in stand-alone monitor market in US (‘06~’08).
• Initiated and managed CISCO OEM business for the Large Format LCD Display business; Pricing, P&L, demand planning, new product development, manufacturing, testing, supply chain management, vendor relationship, product offering, and communication on an International scale.
