A global leader in EdTech! To change the future of AI education at Catch It Play, we are looking for a 'Product Manager' to lead the planning of new product and engine development based on 970 million learning behavior data.
Catch It's PMs do not stay confined to one product but traverse multiple tasks, handling both types of work together.
• Creating the Service - Leading the entire process of product launch by directly creating user flows, wireframes, and data structures, and utilizing AI tools to concretize the prototype in collaboration with designers and front-end developers.
• Improving Products/Engines with Data and AI - Exploring 10 years of accumulated learning data to extract core insights, refining hypotheses through A/B testing, and collaborating with ML engineers to review model potential to enhance product performance.
If you believe that screen details and data validation should run in tandem, you are a great fit.
Catch It operates multiple products simultaneously, ensuring PMs are not confined to a single product. You will be involved in high-impact products at different times, and also develop cross-product analytical, experimental, and recommendation infrastructures.
A. Product Design and Launch (~60%)
• Product PM Role — Participate in priority decision-making from the company's portfolio perspective.
• Core Experience Design — Directly design and validate information architecture (IA), user flows, and interactions in key domains like learning UX, admin, and reporting.
• AI/UX — Design the ML model's recommendation and personalization results to provide the optimal experience on the user interface. (The PM is responsible for the completeness of the user experience.)
• Leading the Product Cycle — Manage the entire process of product launch from PRD writing to design QA and release note management.
• First User — Enhance product completeness by reviewing scenarios as a 'first user' before launch.
B. Data, Experiment, and Model Collaboration (~40%)
• Data-driven Hypothesis Establishment — Directly analyze over 10 years of accumulated company data → Derive hypotheses → Specify them in the PRD based on quantitative evidence.
• Lead Experiment Environment — Plan and operate A/B tests, collaborating with engineers to contribute to the establishment and enhancement of internal experimental infrastructure (exposure distribution, metric dashboard, etc.).
• Technical Indicator Translation — Discuss model operation and failure points with ML engineers and translate model metrics (Macro F1, NDCG, etc.) into user-perceived value.
• User Interviews + Alignment with ML, Data, Design, CS, and Sales Roadmaps
• Over 5 years of PM experience — at least one product that you have launched, operated, or improved (B2B SaaS or B2C). Will consider even those with less than 5 years if proven breadth and depth.
• Hands-on wireframing, flow, and interaction design experience using tools like Figma, with deep collaboration with designers and front-end developers.
• Sense of UX detail — someone who naturally covers empty states, errors, and loading. PRD writing capability.
• Independent SQL + A/B testing operation experience** — Ability to develop hypotheses, sample size, and interpret results directly.
• PM experience for products with AI recommendation and personalization or experiences leading user experience improvement in collaboration with model/data organizations — domain agnostic, essential understanding of planning and models.
• Practical use of LLM capabilities: Experience solving bottlenecks in planning and analysis using LLM tools like ChatGPT, Claude, etc. to enhance the quality of deliverables.
• Expertise in EdTech and gamification: Deep understanding of online learning domains and experience designing mechanisms for learning motivation through gamification.
• B2C and B2B product experience: Product planning and market launch experience spanning various business models (B2C/B2B).
• Global business and communication: Experience launching global services in Japan, Southeast Asia, and the USA, and fluent business communication in English.
• Market and policy insights: High understanding of the trends and policies in the educational market such as K-content, public education systems, AI digital textbooks (AIDT).
• Academic background**: Understanding and relevant experience in fields that serve as a logical basis for product design such as learning science, cognitive science, HCI, statistics, psychology (majors, research, practical application, etc.)
Benefits and Work Environment
