[Introduction to Day1 Company]
Day1 Company started in 2014 to create 'education that changes lives'. Through numerous challenges and failures, along with a bit of success, we have redefined and pioneered this market in South Korea, and now we are leading this market.
While our achievements can sometimes be expressed in terms of sales volume and stock market listings, what matters more is the capabilities of the organization and team to understand the value of challenges, learn to handle failures, and increase the frequency and magnitude of successes. In order for Day1 Company to become a company and brand that lasts for more than 100 years, longer than anyone's career, everyone works together today just like the first day.
We dream of being more than just education, more than just educational content, and more than just a Korean company. It may not be a good company for everyone, but it is a place where you can have the most concentrated growth experience if you work together—Day1 Company.
[Introduction to Day1 Ops Division]
'Central Organization of Day1' is made up of those who create and maintain the system.
We perform two main roles. First, we eliminate risks, organize the system, and help work focus solely on its essence. We are not an organization that controls or manages the entire company.
The aim is to help the business focus on its essence by contemplating better ways together. Ultimately, it’s about making better decisions faster.
That’s our job.
Secondly, we believe that the technology organization should not just be an executing department but a partner that contemplates the business with us. We do not wait for requests.
We read business opportunities through data, present better directions with technology, and uphold that trust with security.
We think and execute technology aimed at 'making work better'.
All these roles go beyond simply ‘support’. They empower the team and organization to make better choices during the most crucial moments. We are the ones who decide the speed and direction of Day1 Company together.
