• The ICCR cell belongs to the CX department of the Chain Platform Headquarters and stands for Intensive Care Customer Response, a cell dedicated to managing critical customer responses.
• We address critical issues that may arise during the customer journey with Ably, building a reliable Ably Customer Communication Center.

• Operate and improve the search service of the Ably app.
• Develop search ranking models and analyze/optimize queries to enhance search quality and efficiency.
• Develop new search features and backend APIs using the latest technologies, including embedding.

We are looking for individuals who
• Resonates with the culture at Ably and is willing to work as One Team with grit to make an impact.
• Has at least 3 years of experience in search system development or operations, or equivalent capabilities.
• Has a deep understanding of Elasticsearch and experience in practical service application and operations.
• Has a basic understanding of Information Retrieval and Natural Language Processing (NLP).
• Has experience in backend service development using web frameworks (Python/Django, Spring, etc.).
• Can proactively define problems, propose technical solutions, and collaborate smoothly with other roles.
• Familiarity with Django would be a plus.
• Understanding of platforms and e-commerce services would be a plus.
• Experience in building and managing data pipelines would be a plus.
• Experience in improving search systems using machine learning/deep learning models would be a plus.
