Provided mechanical engineering support to the world first service-robot manufacturing team <Testing> - Tested and improved service robot, especially load cell, button, damper, and silicon gasket. Analyzed pass and fail samples based on criteria and figured out points of failure. To solve the problem, engaged with Bear Robotics (manufacturing and mechanical team), Softbank Robotics (investor), Intops (OEM). Through the tasks, prepared design/jig suggestions, and testing standards. <Documentation Control> - Controlled standard operation procedure (SOP), deviation, and engineering change notice. Through the process, communication with the US team improved manufacturing workflow and minimize the cost. Such as torques, operation steps, equipment sourcing action were completed. <Quality Assurance> - Repaired load cell level. At the PVT stage, 300 units were manufactured and 428 times of repairing were completed. load cell repairing process was removed at MP stage by preparing jig and implementing supportive fixture.
