As a Research Associate, I focus on the venture capital and private equity life-cycles, as well as on the fundraising process of private equity and venture capital firms. I contact CEO's, CFO's, and Managing Partners to verify and update company financing data and other proprietary information, and I perform original research, using various sources including Dow Jones databases and publications, Internet research, surveys, primary government documents such as SEC filings, and business journals.
