As a member of the Big Data for Environmental and Economic Policy (BDEEP) research group at NCSA, I was mainly part of the Sao Paulo Congestion Project. The project studied the welfare effects of the 2015 and 2017 speed changes in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
• Geographic Information System (GIS) Programming: Developed, documented, and maintained geocoding programs which took addresses as input and parsed and stored geographic information about those addresses
• Address Matching Program: Designed, built, and managed a program used by multiple teams that measures the validity of geocoded latitudes and longitudes
• Data Analysis: Created R Scripts to clean and merge extensible sets of data into a single, accessible RDS format
