Optimized backend performance through multi-tier horizontal scaling by employing Nginx load balancers to improve throughput from 560 RPS to 2010 RPS, 650ms latency and 0% of error rate. Stress-tested server using K6 and Loader.io and monitored the result with New Relic to determine performance.
