ls (list), which is the utility commonly found in Unix-like operating systems, is used to display a list of files and directories in a specified location, providing options to control the display targets or format. In this project, I implemented my own simplified version of ls in C.

Developed two C implementations of a Heap Manager, heapmgr1.c and heapmgr2.c. Enhanced efficiency using doubly-linked lists, headers, and footers for memory chunk management. heapmgr1.c uses a single list for decent performance, while heapmgr2.c improves worst-case scenarios with multiple lists.

Implemented a C-based caching web proxy to serve as an intermediary between browsers and servers. Parsed HTTP/1.0 GET requests, forwarded them, and handled responses. Added multithreading for concurrent connections, ensuring thread safety. Included caching with size limits and LRU eviction policy.

dc (desk calculator) is a Unix-like tool that reads numbers from standard input (stdin) and uses command keys to display operation results on standard output (stdout). This project implements the dc calculator in x86-64 assembly, providing basic arithmetic and advanced functions.

A Unix shell is a program that provides access to the operating system's features for interactive users. ish (Interactive Unix Shell) is a minimal yet realistic Unix shell written in C. It executes commands, handles environment variables, supports redirection, and manages signals.
