- Designed mock surgery experiments to verify the precision of the adaptive model-mediated control method with KUKA 7-DOF manipulator and Omega haptic device.
- Proposed an adaptive model reducing error in rendering force to master device from 21% to 10%.
- Researched about controlling parallel delta robots and their applications in automation industry.
- Designed MATLAB and Simulink models to analyze kinematic, dynamic, and motion planning of company products including industrial delta robots and 4-legged robots.
- Researched how to apply machine learning for the optimization of uncertainty hardware design.
- Applied Kriging model based on Gaussian interpolation to create surrogate model which optimizes the design for crashworthiness of vehicle side impact. The design minimizes the deformation from impact while maintaining required weight.

Capstone Design for Autonomous Hovercraft

It is the team project to build up autonomous hovercraft with Raspberry Pi using cushion of air to move. I am in charge of develop algorithms with full-state feedback controller to control motion and balance of vehicle. Moreover, I also implement SLAM with lidar and IMU, and motion path-planning.

It was an autonomous racing car contest for 7 teams, and I led my team to rank first place. We had to build up racing car powered by jetson nano. As team leader, I generated main code for lidar-based SLAM, motion control, and path planning for obstacle avoidance, DL-based image recognition.
