[ What you'll do ] - Design and implement server APIs, SDKs, and web services for RMP customers and partners. - Collaborate with product managers, ML engineers, data scientists to maintain a high bar for quality in a fast-paced, iterative environment. - Write server-side code that handles millions of requests per second. The current stack consists of proprietary code in Golang as well as Google Cloud Products including Bigtable and BigQuery. - Construct streamlined platforms to enhance data processing and machine learning pipelines that ingest huge quantities of data from various customers. The current stack employs Google Cloud Products including Dataflow, Bigtable, and BigQuery. [ What you'll need to succeed ] - Excellent software development skills at least in one programming language. - Strong skills in diagnosing issues in a highly distributed environment. - Experience in handling large amounts of data and real-time event streaming. - Strong communication skills. - Experience in Cloud/Big Data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCE, Dataflow, Spark, etc.) preferred, but not required.
