[Introduction to Day1 Company]
Day1 Company started in 2014 to create 'education that changes lives'. Through numerous challenges, failures, and some successes, we have redefined and pioneered this market in South Korea, and now we are leading this market.
The achievements we have made can sometimes be expressed in terms of revenue size, public listing, etc., but what is more important is the organizational and team capabilities that recognize the value of challenges, learn how to deal with failures, and increase the frequency and magnitude of successes. In order for Day1 Company to become a company and brand that lasts for more than 100 years, longer than anyone's lifespan, everyone works together today as though it were the first day.
We dream of being more than just education, more than just educational content, and more than just a Korean company. It may not be a great company for everyone, but it is a place where, together, one can experience the most compressed growth.
[Introduction to Day1 Ops Division]
'Adult1 Central Organization' is made up of people who create and maintain systems.
We play two main roles.
First, we remove risks, organize systems, and help work focus solely on the essentials. We are not an organization that controls or manages the whole company.
Helping the business focus on its essence by collectively thinking about better ways. Ultimately allowing for better decisions to be made faster.
That is our job.
Second, we believe that the technology organization should be a partner that thinks together about the business, not just an execution department. We do not wait for requests.
We read business opportunities through data, provide better directions through technology, and maintain that trust through security.
We think about and execute technologies that make work better.
All these roles go beyond mere ‘support’.
The power to enable teams and organizations to make better choices at the most important moments.
We are the ones who decide the speed and direction of Day1 Company together.
