- The Platform Product Owner is responsible for designing and developing common systems and platforms that underlie insurance services.
- Defines and improves the core platform used by designers and internal organizations from a product perspective in various areas such as consultation, contracts, customer/contract data, and internal operational tools.
- Plays a role in creating a foundation that enhances the productivity and scalability of the entire organization, not just individual features.
- As a member of the product organization, designs the structure and flow of the overall insurance business rather than being limited to specific services.
1. Establish and execute platform product strategy
- Understand the entire flow from insurance consultation → contract → maintenance, and define problems from a platform perspective.
- Establish a platform roadmap and priorities based on the organization's goals and business impact.
- Design a balance between short-term improvements and long-term structure.
2. Define and structure problems
- Define problems based on experience data from various users such as designers, operational organizations, and customers.
- Structure complex workflows and systems, converting them into actionable product tasks.
3. Lead Product Discovery & Delivery
- Lead the entire process from hypothesis establishment → validation → release → improvement.
- Collaborate closely with designers, developers (front/back), infrastructure/security engineers.
- Manage schedules and quality to produce tangible results.
4. Enhance platform sophistication and expand adoption
- Continuously improve common systems to ensure they are effectively utilized in actual work.
- Create improvements in efficiency, productivity, and stability through platform adoption.
5. Respond to stability and compliance
- Solve privacy, information security, and compliance requirements through products.
- Lead tasks to create a stable and scalable system structure.
- Experience in defining problems from the perspective of customers and internal users and leading to their resolution.
- Ability to structure complex problems based on data and convert them into actionable plans.
- Experience in completing projects by collaborating with various stakeholders.
- Experience prioritizing tasks and coordinating resources amid multiple assignments.
