Blend data collected from payment methods such as credit cards to meet investment needs and provide it to global investors executing investments in domestic corporate securities
- Collect and integrate data generated from payment methods such as credit cards, POS, and mobile
- Blend (process/combine, etc.) the collected data according to the needs of global investors
- Complete datasets containing daily sales information of over 1000 domestic companies (listed/unlisted)
- Selectively customize according to client needs
- Provide the customized datasets to global data distributors and hedge funds, etc.
• Sales, market development, and client management for data products targeted at global hedge funds (quant-based)
- Utilize the existing hedge fund client base to propose data solutions and manage relationships
- Introduce/sell alternative data (e.g., Korean payment data) to global quants and global hedge funds
• Define data requirements based on global investment strategies like quant models of hedge funds and provide inputs to the product/development team
• Support sales/relationship management related to data acquisition, including negotiations with domestic card companies and data providers
Required:
- Education: Preferred majors related to finance/quant such as financial engineering, statistics, applied mathematics, computer/data science, economics
Experience:
- 3 years or more of experience in capital markets, or
- 3 years or more of data sales experience, or
- 3 years or more of global sales experience
Skills: English communication (business level)
Preferred
- Master's degree or higher preferred
- Experience in quant and hedge funds
- Proficiency in Python (data analysis, validation, visualization)
- Success stories in high-level global sales
- Success stories in high-level financial data sales
- Simultaneous handling of more than three areas (sales, product, IR, development, customer, administration, etc.) in a venture company
