Responsibilities:
• Develop the commerce backend services for the Ably app used by users.
• Develop platform services and Open API used by Ably sellers.
• Develop the back office services used by Ably team members for platform operations.

• MySQL, Redis, ScyllaDB, Kafka, Elasticsearch
• GitHub Actions, ArgoCD
• Datadog, Grafana, Sentry
We are looking for:
• Someone who resonates with Ably's organizational culture and is willing to work as One Team with GRIT to create an impact.
• A candidate with 3 years or more of development experience or equivalent competencies.
• Someone who has experience using web frameworks (Django, Spring, etc.) and RDBMS.
• A person who can proactively define problems and find solutions in collaboration with other roles.
• Familiarity with Django and DRF is a plus.
• Experience developing in a cloud environment (AWS, GCP, etc.) is preferred.
• An understanding of platforms and e-commerce services is a plus.
Onboarding Journey:
• Document screening → Pre-assignment or live coding test (video) → Job interview (in-person) → Final interview (video) → Final acceptance
• Additional interviews may occur after the job interview if necessary, and the process may be modified with prior notice depending on the situation.
• Industrial technical personnel can transition and transfer from military service to supplementary service, while the hiring of specialist researchers is not currently being conducted.
