Hello. We are looking for an Android Developer at Deeply, a sound AI startup that finds meaning in sound.
Deeply is developing and operating a parenting helper app that analyzes baby crying sounds for inexperienced parents and parents with hearing impairments. Recently, we have been developing a new version of our parenting service that offers various features to assist in parenting beyond just analyzing crying sounds. Furthermore, we are also engaging in various audio deep learning based R&D projects with other companies, such as an emergency situation detection system that detects women's screams and a monitoring system that detects device malfunctions and equipment wear in factories.
In addition to developing and operating these services, Deeply has been autonomously handling the entire process of deep learning-based services, including large-scale media data collection and preprocessing, deep learning model development, and production-level deployment. We are looking for developers to co-create Deeply's deep learning-based services.

■ Duties
[ Android Developer ]
Deeply launched an app called Babba at the end of last year on Google Play and App Store. We are currently developing version 2.0 of this Babba app, aiming to open by the end of July, and we are looking for developers to help develop and operate this Babba 2.0.
Main Tasks
- Develop a native app for Babba based on Android (Kotlin)
- Integrate with Firebase backend
■ Qualifications
[ Entry Level ]
- Overall understanding of computer science, such as Object Oriented Programming, Data Structure, Network, Database
[ Experienced ]
- Over 1 year of experience in developing and operating real service Android apps
■ Preferred Qualifications
It would be great if you have the following experiences and abilities:
- Experience in publicly launching projects targeting general users (apps, web services, etc.)
- IT-related portfolio that can be publicly shared, such as a technical blog, GitHub repository, hackathon/competition projects
- Comfortable reading and utilizing materials in English
- Basic understanding of deep learning
- Experience developing and operating deep learning-based apps/web services
