- Collaborated with NFLC staff, sponsored program representatives, and external consultants (language and education specialists) to ensure successful sponsored programs(STARTALK) through monitoring and tracking program progress; corresponding with external consultants; collecting program data; and working with staff to plan, coordinate, and execute meetings conferences. - Supported the implementation of new initiatives by researching, collecting, and analyzing program data for STARTALK. - Assisted with preparations for the STARTALK Spring Conference in Chicago, IL, including preparing conference materials and supplies, preparing conference material shipments, organizing documents and materials for the meeting, and the other duties. - Experienced the design and implementation process of summer learning programs (including STARTALK above and TerpsTalk: language-learning summer camp program) at all phases, from planning to marketing/promotion to final implementation and event/program management. - Had the opportunity to offer input and attend academic talks Related to Second Language Acquisition, language education and technology research, social media outreach. - Gained further knowledge of curriculum design and implementation by observing and working with STARTALK programs in this phase of the internship.
