Dragon Ball returns to it’s roots with it’s new game for the Wii. Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo follows the original Dragon Ball storyline from the manga and anime. The game features cell shaded 3d Graphics, with all the illustrations based on the original Akira Toriyama drawings, while the gameplay will be more action platform oriented instead of the current Brawler/Fighter style games out for the Dragon Ball Z game line.
Impressions:
I was able to play this game at E3 and I loved it. I like the idea of a NON Dragon Ball Z game, going back to their roots with Kid Goku was a refreshing change to all the DBZ fighting games. I really liked the look of the game, the graphics were well done and one of the best looking games on the Wii system.
