"Madoka Magica" Director to Helm "Sasami-san@Ganbaranai" Adaptation

Akiyuki Shinbo and Katsuhiko Takayama re-team on hikikomori rom-com

Last December, a flyer announced that light novel author “Akira’s” hikikomori rom-com Sasami-san@Ganbaranai was slated to be adapted into anime. The details that have finally emerged about the project are exciting. Namely that SHAFT will be producing the adaptation with Akiyuki Shinbo (Madoka Magica, Bakemonogatari/Nisemonogatari) directing.
