Japanese game publisher CAPCOM is teaming up with Glico, the makers of the popular Japanese snack Pocky, to give players Pocky swords in the Japanese role-playing game Monster Hunter Frontier Online. Players can purchase specially marked boxes of Pocky for a code to receive an in-game sword that is shaped like the familiar candy-coated biscuit stick. Magazine scans have revealed that Bandai Namco Games‘ One Piece Kaizoku Musou action game for the PlayStation 3 will feature Edward Newgate/Whitebeard, Boa Hancock, Portgas D. Ace, and Brooke as playable characters. The new characters join the rest of the Straw Hat Pirate crew, who have already been confirmed as playable characters. The animated promotional video for the drama CD Rui no Masaiban (Rui’s Magical Trials) began streaming on YouTube on Wednesday. The original dark fantasy story revolves around Rui, the youngest ever “magical judge” who weighs the fate of demons. The staff and cast of the live-action Futari Ecchi (Futari H) films announced on Sunday that a third film is being produced.
